Our team can handle plating and styling for packaged or prepared foods, or you can add a professional chef and chef’s assistant for full meal preparation and creative direction.

How It Works

Our process is designed to make your food shoot seamless from start to finish.

  1. Plan your shoot: We’ll start with a creative briefing call to understand your brand, recipes, and vision. From there, our team will create your moodboard and visual direction.
  2. Pre-production: We’ll plan your shoot around your menu or product list, including lighting, props, and plating notes. You can choose to prepare dishes yourself or add our in-house chef and assistant for full meal preparation.
  3. Shoot day: Your creative team includes a photographer, creative director, production manager, and two assistants. You’ll have exclusive use of our commercial kitchen, prop library, and studio spaces, with multiple complimentary backdrops available — from timber tables to marble benchtops and tiled splashbacks.
  4. Review & delivery: After editing and retouching, your final images are uploaded to a private gallery for review and approval.

Pricing

Food and cookbook photography is priced per hour of shoot time, giving you flexibility to design your ideal shoot.

These rates include your full creative team with a lead photographer, creative director, production manager, and two shoot assistants, along with exclusive studio access and use of our commercial kitchen. Everything from pre-production and planning to post-production and retouching is included under one simple rate.

Mini Shoot
1 hour setup + 2 hours shoot time = $1,650 ($550/hour)

Half Day Shoot
1 hour setup + 4 hours shoot time = $2,500 ($500/hour)

Full Day Shoot
1 hour setup + 8 hours shoot time = $4,050 ($450/hour)

Add a professional chef and chef’s assistant for $100 per hour, with ingredients charged separately.

Model sourcing is included in all packages. Professional model, HMUA, and styling fees are quoted separately.

Video content can also be added to any package.
